Unrolling
Form
Spring 2020
I decided that I want to unroll different gem cuts so I modeled the classic diamond cut, a princess cut top, and a modified princess cut bottom. It required me to make a polyline and manipulate its position in space to get the right configuration. Then I exploded the polyline to make a surface out of edge curves for each facet. Then I joined all the surfaces to made a solid.
