Modeling an Existing Object

Here I have modeled the Starbucks reusable coffee cup I have at home. The lid was probably the most challenging and it took a couple of tries to get it to look right. Personally I relied more on holding the object rather than the pictures. The pictures did come in handy though for the big shapes.

The logo cut out was more of an artistic touch because I thought I would look better like that when I print this as a keychain charm.

For the cup itself I used Sweep2 of a circle

For the lid I used ExtrudeSurf as a solid

For Contouring and Markings I used FilletEdge, BooleanDifference, and BooleanUnion

And to make it a watertight solid I used Join and BooleanUnion
