Final Project(Option 2):Pt A

My plan for the final project was to make a three piece screen using laser cutting and wood/acrylic joinery.

My plan was:

The panels would have been an acrylic square with wallpaper (with laser cutouts) pasted on top. The frame would have been hammered together and assembled with wood glue. And lastly, the hardware for the hinges would have been drilled into the frames.

Since I cannot produce my final project:

I first modeled the screen on Rhino 6 and rendered it in a gallery setting.

Then I drew up the plans for how to laser cut each piece using multiple layers to make the wood joints invisible

Then I made the vector files for the laser cutter on Illustrator
